Design & Display:-
The first thing that any consumers notice will be look of any phone and Oppo has really worked hard to give Oppo K1 a premium design and look. The manufactures have also done colour experiments and the phone comes with various colours and design like Blue, Red, Silver Green. On first look the phone does looks good.
Big display is always a plus point, the screen size of Oppo K1 is 6.4 Inch with resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels with Super AMOLED display with capacitive touch screen and colours up to 16 million. A Corning Gorilla Glass 5 coating has also been provided by the company with is also a plus point.
How the phone clicks and how great it the camera quality is again an important point and Oppo has always known for great camera quality.
The rear side has 16 mega-pixels + 2 mega-pixels Dual capturing camera with depth sensor as well, and rear camera does clicks good. Although we found that rear camera quality could have been better.
The front is awesome, its just awesome. 25 mega-pixels of front facing camera works brilliant. Oppo has always focused more on its front facing camera and the result that comes out for Oppo K1 is awesome.
About performance we will say that the phone has good and stable combination of CPU, SoC and GPU but the chipset and other key specs are outdated. The Chipset which has been given in Oppo K1 has been launched back in 2016 and in 2019 we expect more updated chipset.
Talking about how the smartphone performs, with 6 GB of RAM the performance is best all kind of heavy games and heavy applications can be used without any lags and discontinuations.
One thing we will clear here is that performance could have been better for Oppo K1, it looks like that company has made their all effort in the making the smartphone looks good and good camera. Performance has not been improved much and the consumers of new age prefer performance over looks and camera.
Other Important Specifications of Oppo K1:-
The great looking smartphone should need to lasts long, Oppo K1 is loaded with 3600mAH of Li-ion non-removable battery and lasts long up to a day, fast charging is still a missing feature.
The biggest highlight of Oppo K1 is that it comes with IN-DISPLAY fingerprint sensor which is first in the segment. All the other companies also worry about that how Oppo is always able to come up with new thing in such nominal price.
All other features like Bluetooth, Compass, dedicated mic, 3.5mm audio jack has been given by the company.
· Great Front camera
· Value for money price
· In-Display Fingerprint
· Old Chipset
· Rear camera could have been better
· 128 GB storage version missing
Value for money- 9/10
By concluding the review, we would like to highlight that this is a good “Value for money” product and getting In-display fingerprint sensor in such price range is amazing. Performance could have been better but it completely acceptable, camera works excellent and battery backup is also good.
All around the smartphone is good and quite stable with really impressive features, if you are looking for a smartphone which can work well, clicks great and lasts long than you should definitely go for Oppo K1.
